Prof. Dr. Madeleine Bernhardt, LL.M., is a leading expert on the future of leadership in the legal profession. She is the founder of Deep Human Science, a leadership advisory in Berlin, and serves as Director of the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession (CLP) at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. With a unique dual background in law and psychology, she helps law firm leaders and senior executives master transformation by unlocking human performance across the firm. Her keynotes, advisory work, and research focus on how leaders build future-ready, adaptive organizations and lead with psychological intelligence in times of disruption. Alongside her work with professional services firms, Madeleine advises lawyers in international arbitration on managing complex psychological dynamics, and supports leaders in police organizations in navigating high-stakes leadership challenges. She studied law in Cologne and Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), holds a doctorate in law, and is a qualified psychologist with a Master’s degree from the Free University of Berlin.
