Reviews

I have read other small-church ministry books, but Daman has written a thought-provoking masterpiece.--Michael Hilger-Enrichment- (03/01/2007)

A helpful guide and an outspoken call for modern pastors to serve God's word by setting a positive example. Daman stresses that the pastor's role is not to be a visionary or organizational leader, but rather to tend to the spiritual activities of preaching and discipleship, and helping people connect with God . . . . A solid inspirational guide filled cover to cover with the author's experience-based wisdom. Also highly recommended is Daman's previous guidebook Shepherding the Small Church. -- James A. Cox The Midwest Book Review (10/01/2006)

Like Daman's previous book Shepherding the Small Church, this follow-up volume is an indispensable source of advice and insight for pastors of small churchesothe majority of American churches. Helpful suggestions and charts make this book practical and user-friendly. A helpful guide and an outspoken call for modern pastors to serve God's word by setting a positive example.
