OverviewThis book is all about the study of Paul's leadership principles in the context of Corinthian epistles. The primary focus is given to how Paul worked out his faith in Jesus Christ, whom he knows as the one who was crucified to save and bless us, in his daily life as a leader of a community. The book is basically presented in three major chapters in the body. Chapter one primarily discusses about how Paul views the cross of Jesus Christ (or his sacrificial death on the cross) and finds meaning in his life as a leader. Chapter two, then, mentions how Paul sees himself as a leader and treats others whom he ministered to from the Cross perspective. However, chapter three tries to derive several principles by which Paul skillfully dealt with several burning issues of the then Christian community in the Roman city of Corinth, that leaders of all time might also learn the way of the cross in their leadership practices and tread the same path. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRev Mung is a third generation Christian, born to and grown up in a Christian home though his home-country, Myanmar (former British Burma), is known as a non-Christian majority. He received God's call to full-time preaching ministry at his fourteen, subsequent to his born-again experience. As a travelling Evangelist, he has reached hundreds of different places in more than ten countries; and as a local pastor, he has successfully pastored four different churches in home and abroad; then as a Bible teacher, he was, and is still, engaged with several local Bible colleges. His previous appointment as Program Director for Master of Arts degree program at Bethel College, as he always says, is the most challenging of all types of ministries he has been doing thus far. His formal theological education includes Bachelor of Theology (1994) from Bethel College, Tedim, Myanmar, Master of Divinity (2005) and Master of Theology in Biblical Studies with NT concentration (2007) from Torch Trinity Graduate School of Theology (now Torch Trinity University), Seoul, Korea. His recent master's thesis reads Paul's theological reason of his pastoral leadership in the literary context of the Corinthian epistles. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
