As a second-generation American, he spent most of his formative years growing up in both the US and different countries in Africa. His travels, which include time spent in Liberia, Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea Bissau, Switzerland, and Brazil have given him insights into leadership and its intersection with culture and strategy. He holds a doctorate in strategic leadership from Regent University, a master's in business administration from Howard University, and a bachelor's in economics from the University of Maryland.
