Reviews

""Leadership for Pharmacists: Moving Towards Strategic Roles in the Pharmaceutical Industry is a much-needed contribution by Nsovo Mayimele. It thoughtfully examines the evolving role of pharmacists and presents a case for their integration into strategic leadership within the pharmaceutical industry. The book is based on research, and offers a clear framework to empower pharmacists with the business and leadership skills required to shape the future of healthcare. This is valuable read for anyone committed to advancing pharmacy practice and strengthening the impact of the pharmaceutical industry on global health."" Stavros Nicolaou, Group Executive: Aspen Pharmacare ""I have had the privilege of leading multinational and local pharmaceutical companies and have witnessed, first-hand, the value that pharmacists bring, not only in ensuring the scientific and regulatory integrity of medicinal products, but also in shaping business strategy and driving innovation. This book addresses an existing gap in the industry, which is the underrepresentation of pharmacists in strategic leadership. This book is practical. It highlights the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and provides a researched-based roadmap for unlocking the leadership potential within the pharmacy profession. Nsovo successfully bridges the worlds of clinical expertise and executive leadership and offers a compelling case for why pharmacists must be equipped to take up roles beyond technical operations. This is an essential read for human capital strategists and aspiring pharmacist-leaders who are serious about transforming the future of healthcare in Africa and beyond."" Noel Guliwe, Pharmaceutical Strategist, South Africa ""Leadership for Pharmacists is a timely and insightful guide that redefines the pharmacist’s role from technical expert to strategic leader. Drawing on robust research, Dr. Nsovo Mayimele outlines the essential competencies—like emotional intelligence, business acumen, and integrity—needed to lead in today’s healthcare landscape. This book is both a practical resource and a powerful call to action for pharmacists to step into roles that shape the future of the profession and improve global health outcomes."" Amon Chizema, Professor of International Business and Corporate Governance: Loughborough Business School
