Author Information

Allan J. Hamilton, MD, started off his working life as a janitor. Today, Dr. Hamilton holds four Professorships at the University of Arizona in neurosurgery, radiation oncology, psychology, and electrical and computer engineering. He graduated from Harvard Medical School and completed his neurosurgical residency training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He has been chosen by his neurosurgical peers as One of America's Best Doctors. Chris Sorensen is the AudioFile Earphones Award-winning narrator of Brian Lies' Bats at the Beach, Colum McCann's Let the Great World Spin, and Margaret Peterson Haddix's Sent. Other narrations include Patricia Wood's Lottery and Jodi Picoult's Songs of the Humpback Whale, among many others.
