Lead like Linda Lou: Where Everyone Belongs

Overview

Hi! I'm Linda Lou, and I visited a super cool place where everyone shares, plays, and eats dinner together. It gave me big ideas! Back home, I invited all my neighbors to a fun dinner where everyone brought food. We laughed, played, and even made plans to do it again. Now my neighborhood feels more like Rosie's. I learned that making a community takes kindness, fun, and a little leadership - and that anyone, even a kid like me, can help bring people together! Meet Linda Lou - a spirited, thoughtful girl who discovers that leadership isn't about being the loudest or the bossiest, but about listening, helping, including others, and staying true to herself. In this 10-book series, Linda Lou navigates everyday moments at school, at home, and in her community, each time uncovering a new way she can lead with heart. Whether she's practicing deep listening, making new friends, facing challenges, or creating connection, Linda Lou shows young readers that leadership lives in kindness, courage, and creativity - and that anyone can be a leader, starting with the small choices we make each day. From the author of Transcending through Servant Leadership.
