Hi! I'm Linda Lou, and I'm a leader. When my teacher must leave to care for her sick mother, I see how sad everyone feels. I share a loving idea - a surprise party with handmade cards to show our teacher she is loved. With help from my classmates, our art teacher, and my mom, we bring everyone together in care and joy. Our teacher feels comforted and grateful. I learn that servant leadership comes from the heart - sharing ideas, inviting help, and making others feel seen, supported, and loved. Valerie lives in Wisconsin and holds degrees in Communication Arts and Elementary Education, along with a Master of Arts in Servant Leadership from Viterbo University. In retirement, she's devoted herself to writing and painting, resulting in several published books. Her creative work explores servant leadership through heartfelt stories and illustrations for both children and adults. Above all, Valerie is most proud of raising her remarkable daughter, who continues to inspire her every day.
