Overview

Ken Luchterhand, a native of Loyal, Wisconsin, was born and raised on a dairy farm and spent his youth helping his father. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a bachelor's degree in communications, emphasis on journalism. He has worked as a motorcycle mechanic, motocross racer, and motorcycle shop owner; drilled wells as a Peace Corps volunteer in Lesotho; a pet shop worker; a sheriff's deputy; a newspaper reporter and editor; and a public relations director.Ken is now enjoying his retirement in rural Melrose, Wisconsin, with his wife Joanna, son Kennan, and their Gordon setter, Abigail.
