Overview

The title index is made up in large part of the titles of works which cannot be attributed to an author. Each title is followed by its serial number. For works published in the Deuxieme supplement, the serial number is preceded by the letters Ds. This index also includes the titles of works which, although published anonymously, may be attributed to an author. In such cases, the title is followed by the author's family name and the serial number of the work. Titles are listed in strict alphabetical order: Letre, Lettr', Lettre. There are three exceptions to this general rule. Works of liturgy, such as missels, are listed by order of diocese. In the same way, official publications, such as the cahiers de doleances, are given in order of city of institution. As far as possible, sales catalogues are classified by order of owner.
