Overview

Wolf LeDuc is searching for the perfect Mustang. He finds two at an Olathe, Kansas Classic Car facility. He and his cousin, Annette, drive to Olathe only to discover the salesman he had been with was murdered next to the car he wanted, a 2018 Roush Jackhammer Mustang. Wolf decides he wants the Mustang, but an attempted theft of the car and a death threat gets in the way. He agrees to buy the car only if it can be thoroughly inspected. A hoard of gold is discovered in a secret compartment. Local law enforcement lays claim to the gold but Annette, a sometimes contract employee for the FBI, calls her boss in Washington. They immediately claim jurisdiction and seize the gold and the Car. A crime family whose specialty is bilking money and property from widows and divorcees across the country, stored the gold in the car for safe keeping at a storage facility. Annette convinces the FBI to let Wolf take the car to Memphis in order to draw out the criminals who owned the Mustang so they can be arrested. Murder, several attempted thefts of the Mustang, and a family bent on recovering over five million in gold, has given Wolf, Annette and her FBI friend, Hop Dickerson, a case of the Mustang Bluz
