OverviewDuring the mid-20th century of America, refrigeration was not a standard, and so milk was delivered to households daily by people called milkmen. As time went on, and refrigerators found more and more homes, the job died out, becoming a relic of the time only sustained in small, certain communities. Over seventy years later, the world is plagued by a parasite that can only be kept dormant by consuming calcium--the most prevalent way being by drinking milk--and instead of seeing a revitalization of the relic, the world faces an alien species that comes to take milk from households about once a month on the night of the full moon, referred to as the night of the Milk Moon by most. In reference to the 1950's profession, the aliens have been dubbed the ""milk men,"" and when a group of friends close to developing a cure for the parasite is empty-handed as a milk man comes knocking on their door, they must find a way to survive the night and save their species.
