Overview

It was a dark and stormy night. The winter wind lashed the streets while snow piled up, making travel dangerous. The old diner was famous for never closing, no matter the weather or the date, and tonight was no exception. Through the wicked snow, the worn-out fluorescent lights invited the weary, lonely, and left behind inside for a hot cup of coffee and a meal. Inside the diner, patrons debated ancient prophecy handed down by Mayan holy men, warning of the coming end of their calendar. Their writings warn of catastrophic destruction, destroying the Earth and ushering in the end of time.
