Funny zombie apocalypse stories are hard to write and the author did an excellent job with this one. Zombies and college freshmen. Takes me back. The reticent protagonist, the born to leader, the stoner, the jock, wonder woman and the flashbacking drama professor. Lots of beer and hell to pay. I couldn't stop reading and laughing. A fun take on what happens to a bunch of college kids who are soused out of their minds when the apocalypse starts. Great zombie story. Fast paced, unique ideas. Black humor: sobriety will get you killed. This isn't just drunken comedy, though. The story has aspects of courage, coming of age, mystery, conspiracy, friendship and sorrow as well as gore and laugh-out-loud situations. Interesting characters that you care about. Would make a great movie. Very British and funny yet also a tense story of zombies rampaging on an English university. Madcap, insane, funny, a read you won't regret.
