MOTT IV is a Predoctoral Tutor at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He has spent all of his adult life in public service as a military and diplomatic officer, and as a teacher and scholar. In a 30-year career in the U.S. Army with dual foci on Command and Military Diplomacy, he observed, analyzed, and managed behaviors of governments and people under stress and in control in both Europe and Asia.
