Author Information

Jerry Hastings, ASLA, holds a BS degree in landscape architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and is a licensed landscape architect in California. In addition to practicing landscape architecture, Mr. Hastings has over 25 years of experience in preparing candidates to take and pass the LARE, particularly Section E. He has taught grading and drainage at UCLA Extension's landscape architecture program since 1979 and currently teaches the intensive grading and drainage review courses at ULCA Extension, in addition to doing extensive tutoring.
