Author Information

Jesús Baigorri-Jalón is Associate Professor Emeritus at the Department of Translation and Interpretation, University of Salamanca. He has a Master’s in History (1975) and a PhD in Translation and Interpretation (1998), University of Salamanca. He is a former staff translator and interpreter at the UN Headquarters in New York (1989–99) and a founding member of the Alfaqueque Research Group. Translator Holly Mikkelson is Professor Emerita in the Graduate School of Translation, Interpretation and Language Education, Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey; certified translator and court interpreter; author of the ACEBO training manuals for court and medical interpreters; published translator, author and editor.
