His research interests lie mainly in the fields of phonology and grammar. He has also addressed issues in sociolinguistics, language standardisation, translation, and constructed languages. Jordi M. Antolí Martínez is a professor at the Department of Catalan Studies of the University of Alicante and member of the Institut Superior d'Investigació Cooperativa IVITRA.
