Jan Swafford is a preeminent composer and music scholar, as well as the bestselling author of The Vintage Guide to Classical Music. A regular contributor to Slate, the Guardian, and the Boston Globe, he lives in Medford, Massachusetts. An award-winning audio engineer for over forty years, Tom Perkins has expanded his skills to narrating and has more than sixty titles to his credit.
