She has published a book on James Fenton (2016), and was co-winner of the Mustela Prize in social pediatrics for a Plurilingual Creative Writing Workshop in a Medical Centre (2014). Monique De Mattia-Viviès is Professor of English linguistics. She has widely published in the field of Free Indirect Speech, and one of her books was awarded the Prix de la recherche by the SAES in 2006.
