Overview

Thirteen year oild Katie and her best friend, Ellie, are stargazing on a beach along the shores of Lake Superior when a shooting star explodes, and in a kaleidoscope of color and wind, they find themselves transported to a land different from home. A land where statues watch with haunting eyes, a great river has dried up, and the people of the land are caught up in a mysterious malady that will doom them all if the two friends are unable to solve this mystery. With the help of the mysterious Water Doctor, a fiesty sprite, and a forgotten prince, they embark on a quest in a land where magic is real and going home just mihgt mean saying goodbye forever.
