Overview

Etty Scott, having earned the wrath of the Scottish Kirk, fleas to Ireland with her widowed father, who manages to gain a position as an overseer on the construction of a new asylum harbour. Having completed his education, Denis tried his hand at construction and seafaring before emigrating. He returned home to join his father in the harbour police constabulary, where he remained until his retirement with the rank of sergeant. Denis also served as the local commander with the Irish coast guard service.
