Lake Hollywood

Overview

She built her life on ambition. But what happens when love writes a different script? In Lake Hollywood (approx. 72,000 words), Libby Floyd pulls back the curtain on Los Angeles glamour to reveal the tangled secrets that simmer beneath the surface. When a high-powered talent agent is pulled between ruthless power players, rising stars, and heartbreak her carefully curated world starts to unravel. But one unexpected twist will force her to choose between ambition and the one thing she never saw coming - true connection. Told with wit, warmth, and insider savvy, this is a story where fame is fleeting, loyalty is rare, and love just might rewrite the script. Perfect for fans of Emily Giffin, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Lauren Weisberger.

Author Information

Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Libby Floyd is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. After college, she moved west to Los Angeles, where she began her career as an agent at Wilhelmina Models & Talent. Learning how Hollywood worked behind the camera, she accepted a role in front of the camera building a successful career as a national television host for ShopNBC, JTV, and HSN. Now a full-time author, she draws on her deep knowledge of the industry - and the people who shape it - to craft compelling, character-driven fiction. Lake Hollywood is her second novel.
