"Jaime Cader, who was born in San Francisco, California, to Salvadoran immigrants, is the author of the book titled Salvadoran Roots, which has genealogical and historical information on his family, in addition to other subjects related to Salvadoran culture. He has also worked on the award winning film ""Weaving with Spanish Threads"" by Palomino Productions, and worked on a documentary film titled ""Handala"" which is about Palestinian arts. For his contribution of historical material, his name appears in four books published in the following countries: El Salvador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Spain. Cader is an avid folk dancer and he has travelled to several countries to learn about different cultural traditions."
