OverviewItalian philosophy is flourishing, as the international recognition of what is known as ""Italian thought"" attests. But what is it that makes Italian philosophy so revered and studied abroad? Is there a common thread that unites the key figures of Italian philosophy, despite their thematic differences, making it possible to identify a continuous line from Dante to Vico, from Machiavelli to Gramsci, without necessarily implying a unified national tradition?
