His researches focus mainly on the private enforcement of competition law and unfair commercial practices in B2B and B2C relationships. He is a member of the European network of legal experts Trans Europe Experts (TEE). Jean-François Laborde is a specialist in assessing damages caused by infringements of competition law. He is an expert at the Paris Court of Appeal (""expert près la Cour d'appel de Paris""), the Paris and Versailles Administrative Courts of Appeal, and the Superior Court of Justice of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. He is also head of Laborde Advisory, which he founded in 2004. He can serve as a court-appointed expert (in France and Luxembourg), or act as a party-appointed expert (in France and abroad).
