Alberto Vaca Flores nació en Jocotepec, Jalisco, Mexico 8 de agosto 1939, el undécimo hijo de Juan Vaca Núñez y Maria Trinidad Flores Parra. Después de la muerte de su mamá, la familia migró a la ciudad fronteriza de Mexicali, en Baja California. Alberto duró la época de los 1950s y 1960s trabajando como un barbero. En el verano de 1968, el autor entró a los Estados Unidos. No es claro si tenía permiso de la administración presidencial del tiempo o no, pero siempre vino porque tenía ganas. Se migró a Los Ángeles y empezó a trabajar en una fábrica de dulces donde conoció a su esposa, Carmen.Por un tiempo vivieron en Compton, California, entonces la pareja se mudó a South Whittier, California donde criaron 4 hijos. En esos días trabajo como un maquinista. En su tiempo libre encantaba leer libros y estudiar los estilos de sus autores favoritos. También tenía su propia taquería en Orange, California llamado El Mucho Taco. Alberto ha dedicado muchas horas escribiendo sus historias y con la apollo de su hija, está publicando su primer libro, La Noche de Los Coyotes, via Riot of Roses Publishing/Casa Editorial Rebeldía de Rosas.***Alberto Vaca Flores was born in Jocotepec, Jalisco, Mexico, on August 8, 1939, the eleventh child of Juan Vaca Núñez and María Trinidad Flores Parra. After his mother's death, the family moved to the border city of Mexicali, in Baja California. Alberto spent the 1950s and 1960s working as a barb, er.In the summer of 1968, the author entered the United States. It is unclear whether he had permission from the presidential administration at the time or not, but he came anyway because he wanted to. He moved to Los Angeles and began working at a candy factory where he met his wife, Carmen.For a time, they lived in Compton, California, then the couple moved to South Whittier, California, where they raised their four children. During those years, he worked as a machinist. In his free time, he loved reading books and studying the styles of his favorite authors. He also owned his own taqueria in Orange, California, called El Mucho Taco. Alberto has dedicated many hours to writing his stories, and with the support of his daughter, he is publishing his first book, The Night of the Coyotes, through Riot of Roses Publishing House. Bianca Perez es una artista autodidacta especializada en acuarela e ilustradora de Oakland, California. Además, es la orgullosa nieta de Alberto F. Vaca.Su misión es celebrar la herencia mexicana de su familia a través de su arte narrativo.Bianca Perez is a self-taught watercolor artist and illustrator from Oakland, California. She is also the proud granddaughter of Alberto F. Vaca. Her mission is to highlight her family's Mexican heritage through her storytelling art.
