Eliyahu M. Goldratt (1947-2011) was an educator, author, scientist, philosopher, and business leader. But he was, first and foremost, a thinker who provoked others to think. Often characterized as unconventional, stimulating, and ""a slayer of sacred cows,"" Dr. Goldratt exhorted his audience to examine and reassess their business practices with a fresh, new vision. In addition to his pioneering work in business management and education, he held patents in a number of areas ranging from medical devices to drip irrigation and temperature sensors. Mauricio Perez is a Latin American Spanish-language narrator who started his voice career in 1992 as a performer of urban music in Colombia. He has recorded books on a variety of different nonfiction topics. He is a graduate of the Institute of Audio Research in New York City and New Jersey City University with a BA in media arts.
