OverviewThis work analyzes what magic is and how it functions, explaining the creative forces that are an instrinsic part of the human mind and how you can tap into them to better your life and accelerate your spititual evolution. It begins by explaining God's power in nature and the importance of identifying with this power. Also explored is the power of the human mind, the influence of the moon and the cosmic Law of Three. The reader is taught how to find his or her magical number and word of power and how to use them in the practice of magic. The book also discusses the mystical power of plants and how they are classified as either sweet or bitter, never to be mixed, except for special rituals. The use of plants in lustral baths, a traditional magic practice in Latin America, is explained in detail, as well as legendary ""despojos"", or ritual cleansings, used throughout Latin America to dispel evil and bad luck. There is a section on incenses, and the preparation of personal amulets known as ""resuardos"", which are prepared inside small bags in different colours for a variety of purposes such as love, protection against evil, money, good health, gambling and others. Also explained are stones and their powers, and the guardian angel, colour and stone of each sign of the zodiac. The central part of the book is a collection of spells from various sources (predominantly Santerian) for love, wealth, luck and protection.
