This book is a collection of reflections on the impact of information and communications technology (ICT) on architecture, an issue that's been an object of much active, polemical debate in the field. More than three decades in the making, the book discusses both jobs that have become obsolete as well as ones that are emerging now. Together, the aim of these texts is to take a position that incentivizes and redirects reflections on the role of technology in architecture. ​Este libro es una recopilación de reflexiones sobre el impacto de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) en la arquitectura. Author Information

Lluís Ortega is a Catalan architect. He founded the Sio2Arch architecture studio together with his partners Santiago Ibarra, Xavier Osarte, and Esther Segura. He has taught at universities in several countries and is currently an associate professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology and a visiting professor at Torcuato di Tella University in Buenos Aires. His books include Suprarrural and Platform GSD.
