Erik Axl Sund son dos autores en uno, pues detrás de dicho nombre se esconden en realidad Jerker Erikson (1974) y Håkan Axlander Sundquist (1965). Håkan es técnico de sonido, músico y artista. Jerker fue productor de la banda de electropunk de Håkan, iloveyoubaby!, y actualmente trabaja como bibliotecario en una prisión. Como Erik Axl Sund han publicado las novelas que forman la trilogía «Los rostros de Victoria Bergman» (Persona, 2010; Trauma, 2011; y Catarsis, 2012) y la primera entrega de la nueva trilogía «Melancolía» (Cuerpos de cristal, 2014).
