After a corporate career working in research and development for a major American company, Grovère now applies lessons learned from his scientific pursuits and ideas contemplated throughout his life to the realm of fiction. He writes in a style called ""science future"", where details of how things might work sixty year in the future are described-exploring technology innovation in ways it might impact his grandchildren when they reach his age. As a serious scientist having authored numerous scientific publications, he weaves plausible science into various adventures involving fictitious characters caught up in the unexpected turmoil of technology that advances more rapidly than people are able to assimilate it. There are five William Grovère novels that comprise the entire set of adventures triggered by the hypothesis of scientist, J. Cédric Rothschild, in a manuscript from 2029 called ""Dark Matter and the Time-Dependent Speed of Light"" . Chronologically, La Charlière is the last installment, preceded by Hyperspeed, Cèdric, The Timecharger, and Sea Change. Although some characters reappear in the various novels, each novel stands on its own, and it is unnecessary to read them in order. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
