Table of ContentsReviewsThe years of the Kung Fu Craze were like a waterfall flowing from a high place and crashing down on an unsuspecting western public. The Kung-Fu Monthly poster magazine informed, fed and raised the emotions to all who read and collected these nostalgic magazines and books, mainly dealing with the life works of Bruce Lee. Carl Fox has been entrusted with renewing these nostalgic feelings, with new additional interviews, photographs and history of this revered magazine. These books pour out the information and form a truthful account of what was the biggest selling worldwide magazine of its time. The text comes flowing off the page and gives reflective memories to old readers and amazing information for a new generation. -- Andrew Staton, Jun Fan Journal I hope you enjoy re-reading these old KFMs as much as we enjoyed putting them together all those years ago. -- Don (Won Ton) Atyeo, Former Kung-Fu Monthly Editor Author InformationCARL FOX was a staff member of the Bruce and Brandon Lee Association and a writer for Impact, Martial Arts Illustrated, World of Martial Arts and Eastern Heroes magazines, for which he has conducted a number of film-related interviews, including Kevin Smith, Roger Avary, Don Murphy, Steve Wang, John Saxon, Gordon Liu and Mark Dacascos. His first book, The Bruce Lee Society: A Retrospective Look at Bruce Lee Mania and the Kung Fu Craze of the 1970s was released through Promethean Press in April 2021. His work has been featured in several newspaper publications including The Barnsley Chronicle and The South China Morning Post. He currently co-hosts the popular podcast Flat Cap Chat.
