A wonderful book to take to Kruger National Park with us in November. The photographs are amazing and the easy to follow description of each area of the park, and animals & birds to look out for, is going to help make our trip one to remember. Excellent book with a lot of information which one can use to enhance your experience when visiting the Kruger National Park. Excellent both in terms of content and presentation. Highly recommended. An essential route and info guide for anyone visiting the Kruger National Park, irrespective of how many times they have been there before. Great to see that the book includes details of closed waterhole. The animal, bird and tree guide is also great as a reference. The book will always be included in our packing when going to Kruger. The ultimate Kruger book This is worth buying just for nature pics alone, but the in depth information and comprehensive covering of the park makes it an essential buy for anyone travelling to the Kruger National Park.

Husband and wife award-winning photographers Philip and Ingrid van den Berg share a love of Africa and all its facets. It is their passion to capture unique moments in nature and share these with readers, through the pages of their wildlife books. Now retired from careers in environmental education and biological sciences, Philip and Ingrid have transformed a love of photography into a full-time ""hobby"", with several acclaimed wildlife books to their credit. With their extensive knowledge of the natural world coupled with their scientific backgrounds, they are an integral part of the HPH team. Heinrich van den Berg is an international award-winning wildlife photographer, and is also an accomplished writer and publisher. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Van den Berg is well known for pushing the boundaries of photography to create explosive images that are as beautiful as they are emotive. Van den Berg heads his own publishing company, HPH Publishing, and has successfully published over 40 full-colour wildlife titles since 2001.
