Wow! What a fascinating book! It truly is everything you could ever think to ask or want to know about Kruger, the largest national park in South Africa and one of the largest managed national parks/protected areas in the world. Not only a treasure to South Africans, the park is also a fascination and on the Bucket List for most travelers of the world, with about 1.5 million visitors annually. Of course the native (and exotic to the rest of us) animals are what everyone wants to see and know about, and this is the book with all the answers! There are detailed black and white drawings of each animal followed by questions about the habitat, food, habits, mating, etc. of that animal. The questions are answered in simple, straight-forward words that will satisfy even the most curious of youngsters and their elders. The book is not only good for those going to Kruger National Park, but also for anyone taking a child to a zoo and for teachers. Author Information

The late P.F. FOURIE was Chief Information Officer in the Kruger National Park from 1969 to 1977. During this time he met thousands of people from all over the world whose myriad questions formed the basis of this book.
