Koko the Blue

Overview

In a world where fairy tales are real, magic is not all that magical. However, it's still a viable commodity. One can make a living handling magic, the same way a plumber can make a living Fixing leaky pipes. That's the case with the local business Sorcery, Potions, and All That Good Stuff, located just outside the woods. For a price, Koko and her brother Jodo will serve your magic-related needs, whether you're in need of the Hate Potion (because there's just too much love in this world), wanting help in arresting Goldilocks for kidnapping your family, or maybe it's because you accidentally gave your floor the ability to talk. Koko's boss, Tofu, ensures that his costumers get their money's worth, even if it means getting tangled up with dangerous assignments. Koko and Jodo are kids, and while they are advanced for their age they don't treat it as a big deal, and none of their customers do, either. They love what they do, but it's still just a job for them. The two goof around just like real kids. That said, with Koko's book-smarts and having a boss like Tofu around, they know they have to handle things like adults. This is especially necessary when one considers the type of jobs they get. Our setting is the Enchanted City, where fairy tales are a common way of life. Princes and Princesses are a routine, witches hang out at the local bar over on the Wicked West Ave., and frogs go out with maidens. But as far as the citizens are concerned, it's just a normal city like any other.
