Three tiny bonsai - curious Komono the apple tree, steadfast Sito the fir, and brave little Myabi the quince - decide to leave their cozy nursery and search for a fading enchanted forest near Mount Fuji. Guided (sometimes) by a wry ginger cat and helped by Hina, a girl who can actually hear trees, they roll into a vast world of buses, storms, and impossible choices.
