"This book celebrates 162 (plus playoffs) winning efforts of knuckleball pitchers throughout the history of baseball, using a day-by-day approach. Pick any random date during the baseball season, and find out what a knuckleballer did to win a game that day. While the big names in knuckleballing history are heavily covered (Phil Niekro, Joe Niekro, Hoyt Wilhelm, Tim Wakefield, Charlie Hough, Tom Candiotti, and others), non-household names also made it into the book, such as Steve Sparks, Kirt Ojala, Daniel Boone, Larry French, Warren Hacker, Lum Harris, along with many others. However, it should be noted that this book is not simply about knuckleballs.
