The call of the Lord Jesus Christ to mankind is to come and follow him. But the understanding of coming and following the Lord is understood differently from various angles and perspectives. To define this concept is vital for a successful christian life.Jesus instructed several times i.e over 22 times to his followers to come to him and take the path he was showing them. As such come and follow me is used 07 times in the book of Matthew, 04 times in the book of Mark, 04 times in the book of Luke and 07 times in the book of John.To come is literaly to move toward something, to approach or to move or journey to a vicinity with a specified purpose and goal. While to follow signifies to move along after someone or something, or to move along a route or path. To come and follow therefore basically means to move toward the person who called in order to move along with him with a specific purpose. This implies that things, people can call for various purposes and to different path with different goals, vicinity and obviously consequences.Good and evil has always determine the destiny and roads taken by mankind. Even the Bible makes it clear that there are two ways i.e life or death.
