Overview

This publication highlights the Gothic art by Wim Delvoye. Using modern technology, Delvoye creates his own version of the artistic and architectural features of the Gothic era. It is the official catalogue for an exhibition held at the Bozar museum in Brussels, from the end of 2010 through to the end of January 2011. For the exhibition, Devlvoye will build a monumental tower on the roof of the Bozar, after having done the same at the Biennale in Venice, and the Musee Rodin in Paris.

Controversial artist Wim Delvoye achieved international fame with his tattooed pigs, his cloaca machines, his love letter made from potato peelings, gas bottles with Delft blue motives and a number of artworks that are often determined as being provocative and ironic. He has exhibited all over hte world, including New York, Paris, Beijing, Milan, Tel Aviv and Montreal.
