Beautifully illustrated throughout.' 'A lovely story and quite unlike any others that I have read before. So many messages conveyed in the story. My son loved it as did I! Author InformationSue Banner's passion for doodling and rhyming led her to writing her first children's picture book Knobbly Nora. Being brought up in the heart of Cumbria she was surrounded by fields and woods, where she would often play for hours returning home with scuffed shoes and dirty knees, the inspiration for Nora! Her working life has included a multitude of jobs from packing pies to pulling pints, then in 2001 she gained a degree in Interior Architecture and worked as a Designer ever since - squeezing in a bit of doodling and rhyming whenever she could. In 2022 she left her job to pursue her passions and is now happy to say she is a full time children's book author/illustrator after having published a further two books, The Warblers and The Forever Family. Sue wants her books to inspire and help promote confidence and self-worth in young children and to encourage them to follow their dreams. She now lives in the North East of England with her husband and family and still loves to take walks in the woods and occasionally climb the odd tree!
