Knitting Brioche at Home: Beginner's Guide to Brioche Knitting: Create A Brioche Knitting Pattern.

Overview

Any stitch pattern that is created in a same manner is referred to as brioche in general. The ingredients of all such patterns are (1) a slipped stitch and (2) a yarn-over; they are knitted together on the return row, according to Barbara G. Walker in her book Treasury of Knitting Patterns. Despite the fact that this particular pattern is written as two rows, it actually only has one row repeat, with the first row being worked just at the start of the pattern. There are other names for brioche stitches, including Double Brioche, Waffle Brioche, and Syncopated Brioche.
