Reviews

The insights provide dinto klezmer in Poland, a topic hitherto little if at all studied, are novel, informative, and comprehensive...The book thus becomes valuable for general audiences beyond the fields of musicology and cultural studies. --Jewish Studies Network

This book is exceptionally readable considering the complexity of the heavily nuanced subject area ... This book is a good read not only for social science scholars ... but also anyone interested in cultural history. Philip Palmer
