OverviewI wrote Kiss the Baby's for Me around the actual 1917-1919 letters, my grandfather, James Traynor, wrote to my grandmother, Jessie Traynor, when he was in WW1. This is a historical fiction, however, the letters are word for word transcribed, so they are authentic history. The remainder of the story is based on actual events mixed with my imagination. It's a book about war and how one family was affected by it. The letters begin at Camp Dix, NJ. From there, to Camp Devens, Mass., Somewhere in England, Somewhere in France and end at Fort Meade, Maryland. Two significant letters come from another historic source in France.
