D.A. Jennings is an award-winning children's author, storyteller, and creative writing instructor dedicated to inspiring young readers through engaging and meaningful stories. She is the author of Mia, The Crooked Road, sequel to the award-winning Mia, Ripples in the Water, which received recognition from the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards, Kirkus Reviews, and the San Francisco Review. Her book The Tapping Stick earned a Silver Medal from the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards, and Cheese? Yes, Please! received the Story Monsters Royal Dragonfly Book Award. She is also the author of the popular Kip series, including Kip and the Best Gift.Jennings began writing children's stories in 2017 and quickly found a connection with young audiences through school visits, library programs, and community events.
