OverviewThe first Burmese diplomatic mission to London in 1872, following the Second Burmese War, was led by Kinwun Min-gyi. He conveyed Burma's rich culture and furthered Burmese understanding of the West. This is his record of the journey and his observations of Western cities, technology and mores.
