Under the pen name of James Axler he created the best-selling Outlanders novel series for Harlequin Enterprise's Gold Eagle imprint. The author of over 50 books, Mark has been featured in Starlog, Comics Scene and Fangoria magazines. He has also been interviewed by Robert Siegel for NPR's All Things Considered. Pablo Marcos is an internationally celebrated comic book artist and commercial illustrator, best known his work on such popular American comics characters as Batman, Spider-Man, The Avengers and Conan the Barbarian. During the 1970s his signature character was Marvel Comics' the Zombie, for which Pablo drew all but one story in the black-and-white horror-comics magazine Tales of the Zombie. Throughout the 1990s, Pablo and his studio produced many books in Waldman Publishing's Great Illustrated Classics series of young adult adaptations of Gulliver's Travels, Journey to the Centre of The Earth and King Solomon's Mines.
