Reviews

GoodReads Reviews""Twists and turns galore in this page-turning cozy thriller. A good part of the story is set in 2020 which added a slight historical fiction vibe to the story. Although it is part of a wonderful series, this book can be read as a standalone. It would make an excellent movie!"" (5-star review) ""Loved this well written, gripping thriller that I could not put down. I was totally hooked on the plot and the intrigue around suspicious cold case deaths and events surrounding the deaths. This the first book I've read by this author and can't wait to read more."" (5-star review) ""Another awesome read by Lee Clark! I love these books ... Lee does such a good job with her descriptions and details that my attention is held."" (5-star review) """"A totally engaging story surrounding two buddies trying to solve a cold case. And it appears they have piqued the interest of others they are unaware of. This is a great pulse-pounding thriller, with several twists and turns and engaging intrigue, that keeps the reader on their toes."" Author Information

Lee Clark is a coffeeholic and dark chocoholic who resides in North Carolina with spouse, two mostly grown children who are in and out, and a dwindled petting zoo of geriatric dogs and cats. A North Carolina native, Clark is from Raleigh, with family roots in Virginia. Clark attended Campbell University, obtained a degree in journalism from East Carolina University, and then obtained a master's in technical communication from North Carolina State University. After working in the software technology industry for over twenty years, creating and building highly technical user information for software developers, Clark decided it was time to pursue a true passion: fiction writing. Matthew Paine is a fictional character, though inspired by two very important men in the author's life, brother Sean and son Will. Both will see characteristics of themselves in the character and identify with some of Matthew's struggles.
