Overview

Peter Abel is a human wreck, but he is also a police officer. As a survivor of sexual abuse in his childhood he can't but behave weirdly, driven by permanent fear, and so he gets assigned the most detested cases in his department. A sudden surge in suicides counts as super weird, a case that provides his boss with the chance to finally get rid of Peter. He accepts the assignment and starts losing his job, himself, and his life. Until a new life finds him. By then he is unsure of how long he will be Abel and willing to survive, and how he wants to put up with the tasks that come with this life. And suddenly his worst nightmare seems to come true: he falls in love.
