Reviews

One of my favorite writers, Susan Braudy cooks research and serious history into delicious fun. I've not read better intimate portraits of President John Kennedy or Winston Churchill. This book combines the charm of Penelope Lively with the romantic fervor of Barbara Cartland. It's a triumph. Prepare to be dazzled. - Michael Wolff, author of Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
